As I walked into the Adam Center on October 4, I was unsure of what I would find as I attended my setoff country concert. We walked in past hundreds of people in all dressed alike in flannels and wide brimmed hats; cowboy boots and clean jeans flooded into the concert hall. Lights beamed from the leg and old country holler calls, and audible above the roar of the crowd, filled the arena, mixing with the sounds of an roam crowd. We navigated to our seats and settled in as the lights dimmed and the audile sense came to a stagnant hush. Suddenly, in a noise of drums and guitars the compass point became the center of attention as Uncle Kracker took the breaker point. Running through and through a set list of his near popular songs, the audition parroted backward the lyrics as he moved around the stage in an obvious show of his years of experience as a performer. I am not a sifting of Uncle Krackers music and his performance did not change my opinion. Uncle Krack er and his solidification masked up their performance and we could expression the tension in the elbow room building as the audience judge the show they had come on to see. The guitar screamed as a mohawk-clad drummer brought might back into the room and the audience got to their feet.
As he reminisced almost life in his hometown in southern Georgia in his song Kick it in the Sticks, the audience sang either word back to him as though they themselves had lived the personal experiences in his musical memoir, exemplifying the plainly personal relationships that he has with his fans. This, for me, was the most moving aspect of the concert. The first c! hords struck for the hit that he wrote for Jason Aldean Dirt Road anthem and the crowd went wild. Screaming fans almost overpowered the sound coming from the stage. Im not a huge country fan but I had perceive Aldeans rendition of the song and I honestly popular opinion that Gilbert performed it much better.
